Hopkinton School Committee seeks input on naming the new 2, 3, 4 school that will replace the Elmwood School

In accordance with Policy FF - Naming of Facilities or Events, the Hopkinton School Committee continues to work on naming the new 2, 3, 4 school that will replace the Elmwood School.

Back in January, the School District issued a press release, indicating the beginning of the naming process. To date, we have received nearly 50 suggestions, which you will see in this survey. If you wish to see the slide deck that offers explanations, as they were submitted for the suggested names, you may access that here.

At this time, we are once again seeking input from the community. In this survey, you will see the suggested school names, listed by category. We are asking that you choose no more than two names in each category

In accordance with the policy, the Superintendent of Schools will make a recommendation to the School Committee. The ultimate decision for the naming of the new school lies with the School Committee. This survey is being used to inform the decision-making. The Superintendent and the School Committee value the community's thoughtful contributions to the process.

This survey will remain open for one week.
